Survey
As the legal collective-bargaining representative for more than 1700 employees at USF, the UFF-USF chapter has a duty of representation to gather input from in-unit employees on bargaining and other pertinent issues. UFF-USF officers ask colleagues to complete surveys to help in representation. The practice of the UFF-USF chapter has been to keep individual responses confidential. Reporting is only done in an aggregate manner.
There are currently two active surveys for UFF-USF. One is a survey of USF employees asking their opinion about the USF budget reductions.
A second survey is available to USF Polytechnic-Lakeland faculty starting in late June 2008. All in-unit USF Polytechnic-Lakeland employees should have received a hard-copy invitation and a unique, anonymous code that would confirm that a survey response is coming from in-unit employees on that campus. This technique is a pilot in anonymous survey verification, and if successful will be used in future surveys.
