Time & Place. The Chapter Meeting was held at 12:00 pm at CDB Restaurant in Temple Terrace.

Attendance & Introductions. Twelve members, including eight senators, and one guest.

President’s Report.

• Legislative update. Discussion.

Reports.

• Grievances. Discussion.
• Membership. Candi Churchill will meet with the Council on August 11. A committee will compose a draft of a membership campaign plan.
• Tenure and promotion. We will have another workshop in fall.
• Treasury. We are solvent.
• Collective Bargaining. Discussion of issues.
• Communications. Discussion of surveys.

New Business.

• CoN Bulletin Board. Discussion of how to use bulletin board.
• UFF’ Finances. Discussion.
• Food pantry. Discussion of having a food pantry for USF students and staff, some of whom are on food stamps.
• Adjuncts. We will seek the number of adjuncts used at USF.
• Recent Supreme Court decisions. Discussion.
